I recently stopped by here with some friends to grab a bite and relax a little. Keep in mind Quaker Steak is very well known for their wings but I ordered a cherry coke with a fish sandwich and coleslaw as my side. Some restaurants will make their own cherry coke by adding cherry flavoring and cherries which I find tastes better but I don’t believe that was the case here since there were no cherries to be found. The fish was very big on a large hoagie like bun with tartar sauce included on the side. Although it was deep fried and I would have preferred to have had it grilled (didn’t see that option) it was good tasting with no “fishy” taste at all and was cooked well. The portion of coleslaw was good in size and had a nice flavor to it (semi creamy with pepper). The cost of the sandwich and coleslaw being $8.99 plus extra for the drink seemed maybe a little bit high but overall I think it was decent. The atmosphere was what you’d expect going in, loud with a lot going on and TV’s plastered all over the place. For those who aren’t familiar with the setting it is very unique with a lot of car and motorcycle memorabilia hanging around. They actually have suspended cars hanging inside which makes it a lot of fun for the kids Our server was very friendly and didn’t rush us even as we kept adding more people to our table, so that was appreciated.
